The journal Urbanismus a územní rozvoj collaborates with a wide range of professional organizations that are also engaged in spatial planning. These include, for example, the Czech Chamber of Architects (ČKA), the Czech Chamber of Chartered Engineers and Technicians (ČKAIT), the Prague Institute of Planning and Development (IPR Prague), the Czech Society for Construction Law (ČSPP), the Office of the Brno City Architect (KAM Brno), the Ostrava Studio for Urban Planning and Architecture (MAPPA), the Foundation for the Development of Architecture and Construction (ABF), the Association for Urban and Regional Planning of the Czech Republic (AUÚP), and Pěšky městem.
Another area in which the journal successfully develops cooperation is the academic environment. This involves sharing the results of research projects funded by TA CR, GA CR, and the Czech Academy of Sciences (AV CR), primarily through the publication of peer-reviewed scientific articles. We collaborate with a wide range of universities and higher education institutions, including the Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU), Brno University of Technology (BUT), Charles University, Masaryk University, Mendel University in Brno, Palacký University Olomouc, the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem, the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, the University of Pardubice, the Czech University of Agriculture in Prague, the University of Ostrava, VSB – Technical University of Ostrava, and others.
The journal also maintains intensive cooperation with the International Office of the City of Vienna in Prague (City of Vienna) and thus contributes to professional dialogue in addressing contemporary urban issues and challenges.
