Časopis Urbanismus a územní rozvoj se zavazuje k naplňování zásad Etického kodexu Výboru pro publikační etiku (The Committee on Publication Ethics – Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors). Prohlášení k publikační etice zahrnuje povinnosti editora, redakční rady, recenzentů a autorů.
Vydavatel je odpovědný za obsah časopisu, kvalitu vědeckých článků a ochranu autorských práv dle zákona č. 121/2000 Sb. (zákon o právu autorském, o právech souvisejících s právem autorským a o změně některých zákonů (autorský zákon), v platném znění. Redakce zachovává objektivní přístup ke všem zaslaným příspěvkům, v recenzním řízení zachovává anonymitu recenzentů i autorů.
Redakční rada usměrňuje celkové odborné zaměření časopisu, rozhoduje o přijetí/nepřijetí článků k publikování na základě recenzních posudků; podporuje názorovou pluralitu v okruhu témat svého odborného zaměření; garantuje dodržování pravidel publikační etiky a redakční práce (pokyny pro autory, prohlášení autora a pravidla recenzního řízení).
Recenzenti jsou povinni zachovávat objektivitu a nesmí zneužít informace získané z recenzovaného příspěvku pro osobní či jiné účely. V případě, kdy spolupracovali na projektu, který mají hodnotit, mohou recenzní posudek odmítnout zpracovat. Recenzenti jsou povinni hlásit redakci každý střet zájmů. Informace získané v rámci recenzního řízení jsou považovány za důvěrné a chráněné autorským právem.
Autoři recenzovaných statí odpovídají za původnost díla. Je nepřijatelné nabídnout stejný článek do více redakcí. Autoři jsou povinni zaslat spolu s originálem původního příspěvku i prohlášení autora, ve kterém potvrdí, že se jedná o původní rukopis, jinde dosud nepublikovaný. Autoři musejí dodržovat strukturu recenzovaných statí a citačních principů (uvedení použitých zdrojů).
The journal Urban Planning and Spatial Development is committed to adhering to the principles of the Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors issued by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The statement on publication ethics defines the responsibilities of the editor, editorial board, reviewers, and authors.
Responsibilities of the Publisher and Editorial Office
The publisher is responsible for the content of the journal, the quality of scholarly articles, and the protection of copyright in accordance with Act No. 121/2000 Coll. (the Copyright Act, on copyright and related rights and on amendments to certain acts), as amended. The editorial office maintains an objective approach to all submitted manuscripts and ensures the anonymity of both reviewers and authors during the peer-review process.
The editorial board determines the overall scholarly focus of the journal and decides on the acceptance or rejection of articles for publication based on peer-review reports. It promotes plurality of opinions within its fields of expertise and ensures compliance with the rules of publication ethics and editorial practice (author guidelines, author declarations, and peer-review procedures).
Reviewers are required to maintain objectivity and must not use information obtained from reviewed manuscripts for personal or other purposes. If they have been involved in a project related to the manuscript under review, they may decline to prepare a review. Reviewers must report any conflicts of interest to the editorial office. Information obtained during the review process is considered confidential and protected by copyright.
Authors of peer-reviewed articles are responsible for the originality of their work. Submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals is unacceptable. Authors are required to submit, together with the original manuscript, an author’s declaration confirming that the work is original and has not been previously published. Authors must adhere to the required structure of scholarly articles and to proper citation practices (including full acknowledgment of sources).
