A standard for selected constituents of spatial plans, by Josef Morkus, Kateřina Vrbová
This article presents basic information on a Standard for selected constituents of spatial plans, as published by the Ministry for Regional Development for purposes of methodological instruction in October 2019. The Standard stipulates the manner in which digital data of spatial plans should be arranged and defines a unified form of drawings obligatory for spatial plans. This instruction has been issued in order to unify the practice of planners and contracting authorities. It is not an obligatory regulation, however; this will only be an ordinance based on this methodology which the Ministry plans to publish within the next three years.
A research project will broaden the scope of documents of spatial analysis and the monitoring indicators for Strategy of Regional Development 2021+, by Ivana Svojtková, Jana Šimanová
The Strategy of Regional Development 2021+, a document prepared by the Ministry for Regional Development, was approved by the government in November 2019. As a part of it, new monitoring indicators were proposed, one of which is income of population in terms of purchasing power at the level of municipalities (municipal districts for statutory cities). For this reason, the Technical University of Liberec, assisted by the Department of Regional Policy of the Ministry for Regional Development and other bodies of state administration, are working on an important research project focused on a new methodology for the estimation of average income of the population and price levels in remote regions.
Digitization of the building permit procedure and spatial planning: The amendments required have been approved, by Kateřina Vrbová
The current state of affairs in the digitization of the building agenda, in terms of both the electronization of processes and the share of necessary data, is inadequate. Therefore, the Ministry for Spatial Development of the Czech Republic and various specialists have started working intensively on a digitization project for building permit procedures and spatial planning. The main objective of the project is to create a common and integrated platform for efficient use of information technologies, share of data and standardization of processes in communication among state administration bodies as well as between these bodies and the public. This article presents current alterations and related legislation in this field.
